We're seeking a professional archivist to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition and ensure the highest standards of record care and storage.

You'll be responsible for capturing, protecting, and promoting the history of our organization through its physical and digital archive collections.

In return, you'll receive excellent learning and development opportunities.

This role is available for a period of 12 months, and can be on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

As an Archivist, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Accurately accessioning and cataloguing a wide range of records, in line with professional standards, while working with colleagues to identify and capture the right records for the future.
  2. Providing expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on record management and preservation.
  3. Supervising and assisting visiting researchers and providing talks, tours, and other heritage promotions for colleagues.
  4. Undertaking in-depth research and writing for heritage projects and contributing to the development of our archives.
