Job Title: Asset Management Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust as an Asset Management Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of specialist engineering activities across the trust, ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of key specialist engineering service contracts
  • Act as a lead in designated service areas commensurate with their specialty
  • Participate in the Estates out of hours on-call arrangements and undertake Authorised Person responsibilities for specific engineering systems as required
Person Specification:
  • Qualified to Degree Level in Engineering/Building Services or HNC/HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with significant management experience
  • Experience in Operational maintenance in a Mechanical, Electrical or Building service discipline or equivalent significant experience
  • Be at or working towards Membership of a Professional Institution e.g. IHEEM, IEE, IET IMechE, CIBSE
  • A recognised training qualification/apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Services
  • Appointments as an Authorised/Competent person
Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to other sites as required
  • Ability to work out of hours, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as needs arise
  • Able to undertake all duties as detailed in the job description
  • To be able to participate on the Estates Management On Call Rota if required to do so
