Culinary Support Assistant - Bexley

£11.51 Per Hour, 40 Hours per week

We are looking for a diligent and committed Culinary Support Assistant to enhance our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of our culinary workspace. You will collaborate closely with our chefs and kitchen personnel to facilitate seamless operational flow.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing equipment and utensils, and upholding a clean and hygienic kitchen atmosphere. Additionally, you will assist with ingredient preparation and basic cooking duties as required. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, demonstrate efficiency in a fast-paced setting, and exhibit a strong dedication to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and surface cleaning.
  • Assist in ingredient preparation and support chefs during food assembly.
  • Handle and store food in compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor kitchen supply inventory and notify management when stock levels are low.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and standard-compliant food preparation and delivery.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to foster a secure working environment.
  • Properly dispose of waste and recycle whenever feasible.

We operate every day of the week throughout the year, offering flexible shifts and days. Generally, we experience higher activity during evenings and weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed during the interview process.
