Culinary Support Assistant - Bexley

Hourly Rate: 11.51, Full-Time: 40 Hours per week

We are in search of a diligent and committed Culinary Support Assistant to enhance our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be essential in upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of our culinary space. Collaborating closely with our chefs and kitchen personnel, you will contribute to the seamless execution of daily tasks.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of duties such as washing dishes, sanitizing equipment and utensils, and ensuring a neat and hygienic kitchen atmosphere. Additionally, you will assist with ingredient preparation and basic cooking activities as required. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and a solid dedication to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and surface cleaning.
  • Assist in ingredient preparation and support chefs during food assembly.
  • Handle and store food in compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor kitchen supply inventory and notify management when stock levels are low.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery according to established standards.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Properly dispose of waste and promote recycling initiatives.
