SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Support Worker to join our team in providing 1:1 support to a 4-year-old child with complex needs.
About the Role:The successful candidate will work closely with the child's therapy team to implement a play-led therapy programme, using a fun and creative approach to support the child's development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to the child in a family setting
- Implement a play-led therapy programme, using a fun and creative approach
- Work closely with the child's therapy team to support their development and well-being
- Support the child with daily and emergency medication
- Assist with the child's daily routine, including afterschool and bedtime activities
- Experience working with children with SEN and epilepsy
- Early years childcare experience and a passion for play
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Non-smoker/vaper
We offer a competitive hourly rate, excellent training and development opportunities, and the chance to work with a supportive and welcoming family.
This is a part-time role, working any 3 weekdays to be mutually agreed, with the opportunity to work alongside a school or study.
