Operations Director Job

St Matthew Academy is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the academy, ensuring the smooth running of our support services, and contributing to the development of our administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the academy's operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Lead a team of administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement new ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our support services.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure the education of our pupils is supported through effective administrative systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of governance and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of school operations and administrative systems.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the development of our academy's vision and goals.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
