Job Title: Senior Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our London Planning Team based out of Maple Cross, Hertfordshire.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working across the Pre Construction & Construction Delivery Teams to offer planning expertise on multiple projects at tender, PCSA and delivery stages. This will involve producing fully integrated programmes, site logistics, and temporary work schedules, as well as developing information for tender settlements and reviewing subcontractor programme / logistics information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex project programmes, incorporating all disciplines and ensuring sufficient time risk allowances and terminal float / buffer to contractual completions.
  • Produce site logistics, scaffold schedules, temporary power & water requirements, and temporary work schedules.
  • Develop information for tender settlements, including benchmarking and reviewing subcontractor programme / logistics information.
  • Review and monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with contract conditions and producing monthly client progressed programmes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in construction planning, gained within the main contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contract conditions and ability to implement requirements on project programmes.
  • Experience in developing claims / CE's and using Asta Powerproject software and Bluebeam for take off's, logistic plans, etc.
