The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English and Maths Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Tutor, you will work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, creating and delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Our mission at Prospero Teaching is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for Tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, using a creative, flexible, and holistic approach to raise attainment and improve their educational journey.

Contract Details
  • Location: Within the young person's mainstream school
  • Position: English and Maths Tutor
  • Duration: Until the pupil has completed exams
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Full-time/part-time: Part-time (1 hour a day, Tutor needs to be flexible)
  • Minimum rate of pay: £25+ per hour
  • Hours: Working hours can differ, depending on the convenient timings of the young person's timetable
