Siemens Energy Industrial Turbomachinery Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Mechanical Components Specialist to enhance their team. This position focuses on supporting the Fluid and Mechanical Systems by locating and procuring equivalent instrumentation and components due to obsolescence, particularly within gas turbine package auxiliary systems. The replacement components are crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the products.
As an integral team member, you will undertake technical assessments, coordinate efforts, and serve as a liaison between Spares Engineering and Further Engineering departments. Your role will be essential in fulfilling the company's vision of re-imagining the world.

Key Responsibilities- Technical Assessment: Identify and procure equivalent instrumentation and components for gas turbine package auxiliary systems, ensuring compatibility and performance standards.
- Documentation Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including specifications and schematics.
- Obsolescence Strategy: Recognize replacements for obsolete components and formulate change out kits as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, regional divisions, suppliers, and clients to guarantee the availability and quality of replacement parts.
- Educational Background: HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Background in a Spares Engineering role within a comparable industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with system components and technologies, along with a working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
