Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Fitting Expert at Z-Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the midlands by delivering high-quality workmanship on turbine systems. Your primary responsibility will be to assist site teams with inter-fitting of turbine components, ensuring correct fitting technique and assembly build is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist site teams with inter-fitting of turbine components
  • Refer to engineering drawings to ensure correct fitting technique and assembly build is achieved
  • Use of hand tools, pneumatic power tools, and deburring machinery to achieve a high-quality component finish
  • Carry out quality inspection and principle gauging to ensure component specification is met

Requirements:
  • Must have carried out an apprenticeship, or level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical fitting experience
  • Close attention to detail
  • Good housekeeping
  • Strong communication skills
