The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career with a company that values your growth. You will work on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills needed to progress within the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Supporting the management of contract variations and project financials to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and ensure accuracy in measurements, collaborating with project managers and site engineers to resolve any issues
  • Assisting in the preparation of tender documents and contracts, working closely with senior surveyors to learn and develop key quantity surveying skills
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution


Requirements:

  • A degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • A proactive attitude with a keen willingness to learn and develop, with a passion for the construction and civil engineering industry
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, with a flexible approach to meet the demands of a dynamic and fast-paced environment
