About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Noble House, Worcester. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals and drinks to customers, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with customers, families, advocates, and staff to deliver exceptional service
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment, including the kitchen, communal areas, and customers' flats
- Identify and report potential hazards and faults to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage stock levels, restock as needed, and ensure equipment is used in accordance with guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable
- Working knowledge of general cleaning duties is also desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- A basic understanding of health and safety principles
- NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering or willingness to work towards is desirable
