We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and drink services to our customers, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals and snacks to a high standard, following food safety guidelines and health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with food storage, stock control, and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns.
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment, preferably in a care setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
