Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Transformation Unit as an Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver different forms of psychological interventions to patients recovering from mental health illnesses in individual or group settings.
  • Support and enhance the professional psychological care of adults with mental health diagnoses.
  • Work across all sectors of care, providing psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Upper-second class honours degree or higher in psychology.
  • Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Master's degree and/or enrolled in a Master's course recognised by the British Psychological Society.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to patients, families, and other professionals.
  • Understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems and other disabilities.
