About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our operations function, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our field support team, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of team managers who oversee a large team of field support specialists working alongside field engineers to install low-carbon technology across the UK.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the operations function, including team management, operational reporting, managing third parties, and industry compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and report back to the Operations Director.
  • Lead internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Support employee communication with the management team.
  • Provide operational expertise and support to the teams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and logically to react to changes in strategy.
  • Experience in delivering programs of work and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of adaptability and agility.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
