Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to provide an efficient, effective, and responsive tenancy and scheme management service to enable older residents with identified support needs to live independently in our sheltered housing setting.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of our sheltered housing service by actively assisting housing management staff on site regarding any building management and environmental issues within the scheme.

This role will maintain an awareness of both fire and health & safety regulations within the scheme and regularly test warden call and other types of equipment on site.

The Estate Officer will also be responsible for completing building inspections, including communal areas, and undertaking minor repairs within the scheme that are identified.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
