We are seeking skilled Electricians to become part of our Home Maintenance Team, a group of trade specialists dedicated to delivering both responsive and planned repair services to our clientele.
In the Responsive Repairs capacity, you will report directly to the HMT Electrical Supervisor. This position involves working independently or collaboratively within a small team. You will contribute to a reactive maintenance team, providing a responsive repair service in the residences of our clients and properties managed by SYHA, while consistently aiming for high standards of craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
For the Planned Works position, you will also report to the HMT Electrical Supervisor. This role requires you to work solo or as part of a small group. Your responsibilities will include executing electrical installations, testing, and remedial tasks in client homes and properties managed by SYHA. You will be an integral part of a trade team executing planned and cyclical works, ensuring high standards of workmanship and outstanding customer service.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Proven experience and capability in performing Electrical tasks, including maintenance, installation, and testing. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend solutions for repair and maintenance challenges. Flexibility to undertake minor repairs that may require skills from other trades, such as carpentry or basic plastering. Proficient in providing guidance and advice to clients/customers regarding maintenance and repair matters. A full driving licence and confidence in operating vehicles within the HMT fleet, including those up to long wheelbase transit size. Familiarity with digital work solutions and online applications.About Us:
