Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team at our brand new McDonald's restaurant in Folkestone Services on the M20 near Hythe. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a customer-focused approach and setting high standards for yourself and your team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Monitor and control restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and customer service standards.
  • Coach and develop employees to achieve their full potential, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other restaurant leaders to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business results.
