Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at our brand new McDonald's restaurant in Folkestone Services on the M20 near Hythe.

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and ensuring that all shift work requirements are met. This includes orienting, assisting, and coaching employees, as well as monitoring operations and allocating resources.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for driving sales, growing profitability, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and leading teams within a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and display customer-focused behaviours to delight our customers
  • Deliver personalised service and connect with our customers
  • Adapt to customer needs through your team
  • Answer customer queries and keep up to date with knowledge on our food and promotions
  • Use initiative, confidence, and problem-solving when interacting with colleagues and customers
  • Treat all colleagues and customers with courtesy and respect
