About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at our brand new McDonald's restaurant in Folkestone Services on the M20 near Hythe.

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and ensuring that all shift work requirements are met. This includes orienting, assisting, and coaching employees, as well as monitoring operations and allocating resources.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for driving sales, growing profitability, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and display customer-focused behaviors to delight our customers
  • Deliver personalized service and connect with our customers
  • Adapt to customer needs through your team
  • Answer customer queries and keep up-to-date with knowledge on our food and promotions
  • Use initiative, confidence, and problem-solving when interacting with colleagues and customers
  • Treat all colleagues and customers with courtesy and respect

Training and Development

We provide full training at our Maidstone Services restaurant at Junction 8 of the M20, and travel or accommodation will be provided during your training.
