Job Summary
This role will play a key part in the development and execution of Abcam's in-licensing strategy across both products and technologies. You will work closely with the Director of Business Development and other members of the in-licensing team to identify and secure new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the in-licensing strategy, working closely with the in-licensing team and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including academic, industry, and pharmaceutical organizations.
- Support the in-licensing team in executing agreements with partners to in-license products and technologies that align with Abcam's strategic goals.
- Liaise with Portfolio Managers and Product teams to ensure in-licensed products meet consumer needs and add value to the Abcam catalogue.
- Monitor and report on KPI measures and targets for the role.
- Maintain and update progress and agreement information in key databases and salesforce.com.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Attend conferences and networking events to build relationships and promote Abcam as a partner of choice for in-licensing.
Requirements
You will have a bachelor's degree in a life science discipline and previous experience working in the Life Science market. You will be able to build relationships with key stakeholders, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
You will have knowledge of the in-licensing process and be able to structure agreements in a creative way to meet the needs of all parties. You will be able to work across a multi-site team and have strong attention to detail.
