As a Disability Assessor, you will independently review cases of individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit, as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
This position requires conducting assessments and generating impartial reports. A thorough training program will be provided to equip you for your new responsibilities, allowing you to accumulate over 100 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points within your first three months.

Key Responsibilities of a Disability Assessor:
- Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate individuals with diverse health conditions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments through various methods
- Analyze medical documentation to produce detailed reports that support the decision-making process
Qualifications Required:
- Must be a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist
- Active NMC/HCPC registration is essential
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
