Clinical Engineering Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Engineering Supervisor to join our team at the East of England Ambulance Service Trust. As a key member of the Medical Devices Management Team, you will play a crucial role in the management of the Department and contribute to the development of services provided by the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the provision of a high-quality equipment service by the department to the Trust.
  • Develop and implement safe systems for the procurement, management, and maintenance of medical devices.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements and relevant technical guidance.
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Clinical Engineering Department.
  • Manage and lead the repair and maintenance function to ensure sufficient operationally ready equipment is available.
  • Develop and manage the Clinical Engineering Department, its technical and administrative staff, and the services provided by the department.
