Head Registered Veterinary Nurse - Kensington 24-Hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our 24-hour veterinary centre in Kensington. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and leading our nursing team to provide the highest standards of care.

About the Role
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.

Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology, including complex ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system, endoscope, full in-house lab, separate dog and cat wards, isolation area, two operating theatres, and big expansion plans coming in the near future.

We offer a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends, to support your work-life balance. You will also have access to 24-hour counselling by phone or in person, and 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays rising to 6 with length of service.

You will also have access to a health cash plan from day one, covering dental, physio, and optical services, with 24/7 Private GP Service.

As a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient monitoring and care, managing admissions and discharges, and delivering professional excellence. You will also be expected to pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.
