About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Thales. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform project audits and surveillance activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plans and audit strategy.
  • Act as the customer's representative inside the project or bid team and look to maximize customer satisfaction and support any actions.
  • Manage and analyse reports to continually improve quality within the project, and ensure the quality performance is managed and reported to meet project time-scales.
  • Encourage and develop best practice, promoting a quality culture and environment of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Quality Engineer OR Quality Assurance Manager (or similar role) preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of current quality working practices and standards preferably ISO9001 / AS9100.
  • Understanding of the engineering lifecycle – desirable.
  • Experience of working within a project structure and experience of managing work packages - desirable.
  • Qualified auditor or have similar experience.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborator and influencer in order to build relationships and promote Quality with key stakeholders.
  • Member of, or working towards membership of the Chartered Quality Institute - desirable.
