About the Role

Achieving for Children is a community-based organization that provides innovative solutions for the well-being of children and families. As a Social Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in accordance with legislation and organizational policies.
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people, conducting assessments, direct work, and interventions with families.
  • Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports for child protection conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team. You will also have:

  • A professional social work qualification and active registration with Social Work England.
  • A full and valid driving license and access to your own transport.
  • Excellent written skills and experience in writing comprehensive reports for the courts.
