Unique Opportunity for a Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team and lead our care services for young people with autism and complex needs.

About the Role:

  • Lead the operation of two small care homes for young people, ensuring high-quality care, support, and accommodation.
  • Monitor quality, evaluate performance, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Complete 6 monthly quality of care reports and submit to the business manager/directors.
  • Audit care-related documentation and participate in CIW inspections.
  • Update and maintain company policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with CIW and County Council requirements.
  • Carry out supervision and appraisals, and provide mentoring to the team to develop their skills.

Our client is a well-established charity that provides a unique and sustainable setting for young people with autism and complex needs. Our services are based across two homes set on 100-acre bio-dynamic farmland, offering a personal-centred approach with several beds in each home.

Requirements:

  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience in ensuring the effective operation of two or more small care homes for young people.
  • High level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and R.I to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections.
  • Ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
