Unique Opportunity for a Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at a renowned charity in Pembrokeshire. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality care, support, and accommodation for young people with autism and complex needs.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of residential staff to provide exceptional care and support to young people.
  • Ensure compliance with CIW and County Council requirements by monitoring quality, evaluating performance, and developing action plans.
  • Complete 6 monthly quality of care reports and submit to the business manager/directors.
  • Audit care-related documentation and participate in CIW inspections.
  • Update and maintain company policy and procedures, ensuring they are followed by employees.
  • Carry out supervision and appraisals, and provide mentoring to the team.

Requirements
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to oversee and supervise residential staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
  • High level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.
  • Experience as a Home Manager, Service Manager, or RI in adult residential services.
