About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the UK Account HSSE Lead (Data Centre Client) at JLL. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement and Manage HSSE Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive HSSE strategy that aligns with JLL's global standards and ensures the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.
  2. Manage Operational Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the account, providing guidance and advice on health and safety risk management at all levels.
  3. Lead HSSE Quality Initiatives: Manage and support the implementation of HSSE quality initiatives across the UK sites and any progressive AORs outside the UK.
  4. Identify Improvement Opportunities: Identify opportunities for improvement and support the account team in implementing practical cost-effective solutions and controls for HSSE risks.
  5. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that building-related risk assessments are in place in line with legal requirements and Client Global Risk Control Standards.
  6. Manage Incident Investigations: Manage account for incident and accident investigations, ensuring that root causes are identified and corrective actions are taken.
  7. Develop Communication Plan: Organize, implement, and maintain an effective account HSSE communication plan.
Leadership and Collaboration
  1. Foster a Culture of Safety: Foster a culture of safety across the account, promoting a proactive and preventive approach to health and safety.
  2. Deliver Exceptional Service: Deliver an exceptional quality of service to our clients, as reflected by client feedback and satisfaction.
  3. Establish Effective Relationships: Establish effective relationships and work cooperatively with the Account Teams, client organizations, and 3rd party vendors.
  4. Ensure Compliance with Standards: Ensure that 3rd party vendors maintain compliance with JLL's and client HSSE standards at all times.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 10 Years HSSE Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSSE management, with a strong background in operational management systems and working with corporate clients.
  2. Management System Development: Experience in developing, implementing, and auditing management systems, with a deep understanding of the HSE regulatory environment in major markets.
  3. HSSE Technology Platforms: Experience in implementing HSSE technology platforms and data management tools across multiple countries and regions.
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Significant practical experience in problem-solving HSSE issues in a dynamic and diverse environment, with the ability to implement risk control systems and processes.
  5. Leadership and Stakeholder Management: An agile approach to leadership and stakeholder management, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrix structure.
  6. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to coach and educate at all levels of the account, with the ability to establish credibility with colleagues and senior management.
