DigiKape presents a remarkable opportunity for Community Support Specialists in the Liverpool and Sefton regions.

We are seeking dedicated social work professionals who can engage in various roles within our social work divisions, including child welfare, protective services, care management, and support for children with disabilities.
Sefton is an evolving and dynamic authority, committed to its ambitious vision for 2030 and implementing a comprehensive five-year plan for children and young people.

We offer a flexible working arrangement for all employees, including the option to work remotely and available parking for those who visit the office. We prioritize training and supervision, ensuring that all new team members receive the support they need.

Stability and consistency are essential to our mission, and we are pleased to offer six-month contracts to new hires, with compensation negotiable based on prior experience and satisfactory references.

Key competencies and qualifications required for this position:

Proven ability to develop practical and procedural expertise in a specific area of specialization.

Capacity to apply critical thinking and analysis to complex cases.

Demonstrated understanding of the responsibilities of a Corporate Parent.

Ability to make informed, child-centered decisions.

Effective communication skills for direct engagement with children and young people.

Proficiency in producing high-quality, child-focused reports and plans.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage varying caseloads.

Experience in collaborative work with children, young people, and families.

Ability to meet service demands and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.

Solution-oriented approach to casework and service enhancement, capable of resolving routine issues independently.

Commitment to promoting safety, health, well-being, and emotional resilience for oneself and colleagues.

Dedication to following through on commitments made to children, young people, and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
