About the Role

Frostbite, Electronic Arts' proprietary game engine, empowers creators worldwide to bring their best ideas to life. As a Technical Artist, you'll contribute to and push the boundaries of Frostbite's procedural tools and workflows, serving as a link between engineers and game creators.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and game teams to enhance procedural systems.
  2. Create, share, and maintain procedural tools and pipelines to accelerate game team workflows.
  3. Advise on tools, workflows, and best practices with Technical Artists and Designers across EA studios.
Requirements
  1. At least 5+ years in game development or film industry, with a focus on procedural tools, Python scripting, and art pipelines.
  2. Experience creating procedural solutions and algorithms in a game or film production environment.
  3. Experience with common DCCs (Maya, 3dsmax, etc.).
  4. Shipped 1+ games or similar within relevant industries.
Bonus Skills
  1. Experience helping others achieve their best through game development tools.
  2. Experience with a diversity of content creation tools within a game engine.
  3. Knowledge of Lua, C# or other scripting languages.
  4. Comfortable engaging and building relationships with multiple teams and individuals globally.
