Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at Project Partners in Rugby, Warwickshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute mechanical maintenance to deliver excellence in plant reliability, meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial targets.
  • Support all company maintenance strategies and policies at the plant, ensuring safe operations and maintaining environmental compliance.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a safe mechanical physical environment at the plant, supporting zero harm to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure suitable parts, labour, and equipment are correct to deliver the mechanical maintenance plan.
  • Investigate unforeseen stops of plant and report back to mechanical supervisors, advising on the course of action.
  • Execute preventative maintenance inspections and procedures to prevent unplanned stoppages.
  • Develop strong working relationships with other Mechanical Team Members, Supervisors, the Mechanical Engineer, and Electrical and Process teams to facilitate and improve the overall performance of the Cement Plant.

Working Hours

This role includes a 1 in 9 weeks late shift: Mon-Thurs: 2pm – 10pm, Fri: 2pm – 9pm. This is also on call after 10pm and weekend work.
