Role: Maintenance Technician

Location: Nuneaton

Full Time, Permanent

Weekday & Weekend Shifts available:

Monday – Friday (rotating weeks)
Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00
Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00

Weekends (Friday – Sunday)
06:00 – 18:00

Our warehouse in Nuneaton is a vital asset, requiring constant care and attention to maintain its performance.

As a well-rounded maintenance technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping our warehouse running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide preventative, reactive, and continuous improvement maintenance services, including inspection, diagnosis, repair, calibration, and upgrading of control equipment and handling equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure work is being carried out correctly.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Record and document activity and improve fault-finding capability on repetitive faults.

Work must be completed in line with health & Safety guidelines and process.

Requirements:

You will need to have experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a Distribution, Supply chain, FMCG, or Manufacturing environment.

This role requires a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.

You will also need to have:

  • A recognised qualification, apprenticeship, or time served experience as a maintenance Engineer/Technician.
  • An Electrical qualification to work with 3PH 400V circuits.
  • Experience with MHE equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and detection equipment.
  • An understanding of legal compliance in a maintenance environment, including COSHH & PUWER.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC drawings.
  • General skills using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience working alone and as a member of an effective team.
  • Flexibility of working hours and processes.
