About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Treasurer to join our Treasury team at IG Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our Treasury investment portfolio, enhancing returns at an appropriate level of risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Treasury investment portfolio, including proposing additional asset classes for inclusion and reviewing and negotiating collateral posting schedules and secure funding lines.
  • Critically analyze the Group's current approach to liquidity risk management and provide refinements to the current process.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's liquidity forecasting and work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Accounting, Legal, Risk, and Operational teams.
  • Assist the Treasurer in maintaining and developing financial institution relationships for the Group and provide advice and subject matter expertise on Treasury matters as required.
Requirements
  • Liquidity and cash management experience essential, with knowledge of financial regulation and experience in financial services desirable.
  • Ability to effectively lead and project manage, work cross-functionally and internationally, delivering to tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation and organization, with the ability to manage your own time and task list effectively.
