About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Treasurer to join our Treasury team at IG Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Treasury investment portfolio, enhancing return at an appropriate level of risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Treasury investment portfolio, including proposing additional asset classes for inclusion and reviewing and negotiating collateral posting schedules.
  • Analyse the Group's current approach to liquidity risk management and provide refinements to the current process.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's liquidity forecasting.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Accounting, Legal, Risk, and Operational teams.
  • Assist the Treasurer in maintaining and developing financial institution relationships for the Group.

You will have a strong understanding of financial regulation and experience in financial services, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
