Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about working with children and young people. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being, and engaging them in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and support to residents, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote residents' independence and well-being.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development, such as sports, arts, and crafts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar care setting.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
