Therapy Programme Manager

Job Title: Therapy Programme ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Therapy Programme Manager to join our team at Castle Craig Hospital Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our therapy treatment programme in line with hospital guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the delivery of the therapy treatment programme at Castle Craig Hospital Ltd. in line with hospital guidelines and protocols.
- Review and maintain quality standards in the therapy department, including monitoring the quality of therapist-delivered components of the treatment programme, updating written guidelines and protocols, and ensuring the quality of patient therapeutic materials.
- Recruit and induct new therapy staff and recovery advocates.
- Oversee the ongoing process of training, professional development, and accreditation of therapists.
- Ensure appropriate clinical supervision standards for all therapy team members.
- Line manage the unit leads.
- Oversee the use of clinical audit and quality improvement projects to monitor and improve the quality of clinical care and documentation.
- Stay up to date with research and innovation in the treatment field and suggest and present quality improvements and programme enhancements to the Medical Director.
- Contribute to service-wide training needs and create and ensure delivery of an annual therapy training plan.
- Contribute to the design and oversight of outcomes monitoring systems.
- Liaise with external therapy bodies.
- Assist the Operations/Hospital Manager with complaints and incident handling.
- Contribute to inspection preparedness.
- High professional personal presentation and manner – setting the tone for the organisational culture.
- Excellent people-management and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to delegate to and oversee colleagues in junior management positions.
- Recognised leadership or management qualification – Level 5.
- Candidate should be certified in clinical supervision.
- Previous record of leadership and management, including service improvement and change management.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09h00 – 17h00, however flexibility is required to meet the demands of the role.
