Role Summary

As a Therapy Assistant at Bupa, you will play a vital role in the care and rehabilitation of our patients, working under the direction of qualified therapists.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist and work alongside therapists in the care and rehabilitation of patients, maintaining a high standard of patient care and continuing clinical management programmes.
  • Participate in administrative and housekeeping duties to support the efficient and safe operation of the Therapy Department and the Therapy Reception team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance programmes of equipment and ensure stock levels are sufficient.
  • Undertake clinical and administrative tasks as required by Therapy staff.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or care service setting.
  • Previous experience of interaction with the public/patients.
  • Experience of working in a team.
  • Previous experience in reception and administrative tasks.
  • Able to manage own time and take responsibility for routine tasks.
  • Ability to prioritise between urgent and routine tasks.
  • Able to use initiative and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Physically able to manage demands of rehabilitation.
