About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of insurance through cutting-edge predictive analytics and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines on various technologies, including Snowflake, to drive business value for our customers.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in Agile delivery methodology, ensuring the development of high-quality data solutions.
  • Develop and manage data using dbt within a data architecture such as Data Vault, leveraging your expertise in SQL and Python.
  • Collaborate with customers to establish requirements, designs, and deliver solutions, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills.

  • Competitive salary up to £50,000 National or up to £60,000 if you are London based.
