We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at our sites across the XX postcode area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a range of cleaning equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
