CAR-T Clinical Fellow

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CAR-T Clinical Fellow in the Haematology department at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a CAR-T Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in the delivery of CAR-T cell therapy to patients with haematological malignancies.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the management of patients receiving CAR-T cell therapy, including outpatient management, liaison with clinical trials teams, and review of patients in the weekly T-cell Immunotherapy clinic. You will also be involved in the coordination of work-up and care of patients scheduled for CAR-T and other T-cell therapies.

Key Responsibilities- Manage patients receiving CAR-T cell therapy, including outpatient management and review of patients in the weekly T-cell Immunotherapy clinic.
- Liaise with clinical trials teams to coordinate work-up and care of patients scheduled for CAR-T and other T-cell therapies.
- Review patients who attend on an emergency basis to the haematology day unit.
- Interact with lab teams processing translational patient samples and interface with academic trials manufacturing team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a medical degree, membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent, and specialist register at time of appointment. You will also need to have completed core medical training or equivalent and have significant experience in the management of CAR-T patients.
