About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Software Engineer to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As an iOS Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our native iOS application, which has over 100,000 monthly active users and a crash-free rate of 99.99%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver product features to the native iOS application using an Agile SDLC.
  • Take ownership of tasks from estimation to release and post-production, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve existing or newly-identified prioritized defects.
  • Write tests for all code delivered and adhere to best practices and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous development and learning of the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to propose and implement technical initiatives that improve and evolve the existing codebase and toolset.
Requirements
  • Formal training or certification in native iOS mobile application development concepts and proficient applied experience.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming with Swift, Xcode, and experience with the MVVM and Coordinator design patterns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and willing attitude to help others and contribute ideas.
  • Experience writing unit tests using XCTest framework and automated CI/CD processes.
  • Good knowledge of core iOS libraries and frameworks, including UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Security, and Combine.
  • Experience with iOS application deployment, testing, approval, and publishing to the Apple Store.
  • Good understanding of REST and working with APIs, as well as experience with Git flow.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience writing UI tests using XCUITest or other frameworks.
  • Experience building or working with Design Systems, UI Development, and White-labelling.
  • Experience with modularization and dependency injection.
  • Appreciation for Accessibility and understanding of how to meet Accessibility requirements.
  • Experience with React Native, feature flagging, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of Mobile Application Security considerations.
