Job Title: Team Manager - Young People's Services

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team in Lewisham. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a mixed staff team and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service to complex needs young people's supported living home.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of staff to deliver a high-quality service to young people with complex needs.
  • Provide guidance and advice to staff on their day-to-day work and manage performance issues when necessary.
  • Hold day-to-day responsibility for rota cover and staff deployment to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Ensure that all staff receive appropriate induction, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance management, including setting targets, monitoring, and taking action to address any performance issues.
  • Ensure the implementation of the support database and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in the management on-call rota to provide support and guidance to staff outside of regular working hours.
  • Ensure contract compliance, monitoring, and service satisfaction to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience of working with young people and families, including those with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, young people, and external agencies.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience of working within an assessment and support planning process relevant to the customer group.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures for adults and children.
  • Previous management experience in a social care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
