Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team in a Residential home in Lewisham. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a mixed staff team and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service to complex needs young people's supported living home.
Main Responsibilities:- Staff Supervision: Supervise a mixed staff team and ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to complex needs young people's supported living home.
- Performance Management: Provide support and advice to staff with their day-to-day work and manage performance issues when and if they arise.
- Rota Management: Hold day-to-day responsibility for rota cover and staff deployment.
- Induction and Training: Ensure that all staff receive appropriate induction, training and development opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring: Performance management including setting targets, monitoring and taking action to address any performance issues.
- Database Management: Ensure the implementation of the support database and that appropriate records are kept.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in the management on call rota.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure contract compliance, monitoring and service satisfaction.
- Customer Involvement: Ability to promote customer involvement, choice and diversity.
- Relevant Experience: Have relevant experience of working with young people and parents/families.
- Report Writing: Be adept at report writing.
- Liaison Skills: Have experience in liaising with the professional network, including close liaison with Social Services, Youth Offending Team (YOT), family courts, and safeguarding teams.
- Parenting Assessments: Have a good understanding of parenting assessments as well as early years foundation.
- Child Development: Have experience and understanding of child development.
- Management Experience: Have previous management experience in a social care setting.
- Safeguarding: Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures for adults and children.
- Assessment and Support Planning: Experience of working within an assessment and support planning process relevant to the customer group.
