Contract:
Permanent, 35 hours per week (Arts Council values flexible working arrangements and encourages applications from individuals seeking flexibility, including job shares).

Salary:
£35,225 per annum plus benefits, including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible hybrid working options.

Location:

Offices available outside of London, including locations in the North, Midlands, South East, and South West.

Travel to other offices may be required occasionally.


Hybrid Working:

The position will be based at one of the specified offices, with a hybrid working model that supports remote work combined with regular on-site days, typically 1-2 days per week.

Role Overview:


Are you passionate about strategic communication and eager to work on diverse and impactful projects? If so, you may be the ideal candidate for the position of Lead Communications Specialist for Youth Engagement.


This role is situated within the Arts Council's national Advocacy and Communications team and collaborates closely with the Children and Young People (CYP) team.

The CYP team is dedicated to ensuring that children and young people have access to creative opportunities throughout their lives, from early childhood to young adulthood. This encompasses policy development, investment strategies, advocacy, and program development.


We seek an individual who can effectively narrate the significance of this work and utilize their expertise to engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including the broader Advocacy and Communications team, focusing on media relations, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications.


In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing communication strategies aimed at informing stakeholders and advocating for the positive impact of creativity on young individuals.
