About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join our new Options Autism School - Brinksway School in Stockport. As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our pupils with Autism, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging teaching sessions, tailored to meet the individual needs of our pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, setting challenging yet achievable targets.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging their interest and participation in their education.
  • Create a stimulating and purposeful learning environment, promoting teaching and learning outside the formal classroom setting.
Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status/Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills.
  • Have a background of teaching English and Maths, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level.
