Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Analysis: Conduct thorough diagnostic analysis to identify and repair complex electronic issues.
- Component Level Diagnosis: Perform component-level diagnosis on returned units, using technical documentation and circuit diagrams.
- Repair and Maintenance: Replace defective components, perform rework, and ensure all repairs meet quality standards.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance activities in internal databases.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on test systems.
- Collaboration and Support: Provide cross-training and support to other technical staff, and collaborate with engineering and management teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: National qualification in electronics engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Technician-level experience in a production environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret circuit schematics, and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Electronics Knowledge: High level of electronics general knowledge and ability to reverse engineer products.
- Test Equipment: Experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
- Quality Standards: Ensure all quality standards are adhered to, including ESD requirements.
