HR Consultant - Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an HR Consultant, your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining HR Systems: Ensure all human resources databases are accurate and current.
  • Data Reporting: Generate reports and create detailed spreadsheets to track HR metrics.
  • Agency Liaison: Coordinate with recruitment agencies to fulfill staffing needs.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work alongside managers to address vacancies across various departments.
  • Onboarding Process: Oversee the completion of new hire documentation and ensure all necessary information is relayed to payroll.
  • HR Communication: Manage the HR inbox and respond to inquiries efficiently.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Support and lead formal discussions, including disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
  • Document Organization: Prepare HR documentation for meetings, including invitations and outcome letters.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to employees and line managers on HR-related matters.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the revision of company policies and the employee handbook.
  • Payroll Support: Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate employee information management.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a human resources capacity.
  • Familiarity with the complete recruitment and selection process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create macros, complex formulas, and perform data analysis.
