A Day in the Life of a Property Valuer

As a Property Valuer, you'll develop strong relationships with vendors, focus on generating new and repeat business, and gain new instructions for properties to market. You'll also market properties to buyers using various marketing skills, complete contracts on properties, and upsell additional products. Your day will be filled with canvassing the local area, door knocking, and leaflet dropping, as well as ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards.

Essential Skills of a Property Valuer

To succeed as a Property Valuer, you'll need a full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle, experience as an Estate Agent ready to take the next step in your career, and a strong ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment. You'll also need to support your manager by helping to lead the team, deliver outstanding customer service, and work under your own initiative. Strong IT skills, a good telephone manner, and attention to detail are also essential.

The Finer Details

To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you'll need a full UK driving licence, legal entitlement to live and work in the UK, and evidence of your right to work in the UK in the form of a passport or birth certificate. We'll also need proof of address, National Insurance, and a drivers licence check.
