Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Shipping Agent to join our Agency Team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for catering to the needs of ships from the time they leave their loading port until full discharge at the destination port.
Your primary duties will include:
- Compiling accurate costs for ship arrivals in port under our agency
- Liaising with stevedores to ensure efficient loading and discharge of the ship
- Maintaining communication with ship captains
- Coordinating with ship owners and cargo owners to enable forward planning of vessels
